While the videos are available to watch one at a time as you scroll through this page, you also have the option to view the videos below as a Playlist, so they will run back to back with no interruption.

The playlist is a little disjointed today, as it represents pieces of a live broadcast and not the full broadcast.

Call To Worship

Have someone read through this call to worship from Psalm 34. As you prepare your heart for worship, remember that we are joining together with the people of God from everywhere around the globe. May our voices join with our brothers and sisters everywhere!

I will extol the Lord at all times;
    his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord;
    let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me;
    let us exalt his name together.

Taste and see that the Lord is good;
    blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.

— Psalm 34:1-3, 8

Going Deeper

You don’t have to answer all of these questions. Look them over, and use one or two that might be helpful as you respond to God’s Word.

  1. What does the picture of Jesus caring for the whole being of Peter mean to you this morning? Jesus cared for his disciples emotionally, physically, and ultimately spiritually. David pointed out that Jesus used simple, physical reminders like the large haul of fish and the charcoal fire to help remind Peter that Jesus still loved him and had already restored him to right relationship with Him. Where are you at emotionally, physically, and spiritually this morning? Spend some time picturing Jesus, at the break of dawn, with breakfast ready today as the reminder of how our God longs to draw us back into right relationship. If its helpful, consider journaling, or perhaps drawing a picture as a means of picturing this truth.

  2. David painted a picture of how the call of John 20:21 to be “sent out” as Jesus was sent from the father fits only within the context of “overflow” from a depth of relationship with Jesus. Are there areas of your life that you feel like you have held back from Jesus’ grace or perhaps from his control? Are there areas of unconfessed sin? Are there places of unyielded control? Take a few minutes in prayer (alone or with family) to once again spend time with the God who is steadfast in welcoming us home into right relationship with Him!

  3. Have you experienced God’s love overflowing into leading you to be “sent” to others? Does that picture of Jesus on the shore remind you of an overflow you are currently experiencing? How could Jesus love overflow to others in your life this week?

Community Updates & PRAYER

Submit a Prayer Request: Share with one another the needs, challenges, and joys that you, your family, your neighbors, and your workplaces are going through during this time. Prayer requests can be shared with either our whole church, or just the prayer leadership teams.

Spend Some Time in Prayer: We have collected some prayer requests that have been submitted to us and we have posted them on our community prayer wall. This morning, we invite you to pray for those needs posted there, and we also invite you pray over what was shared or discovered in the Going Deeper questions above.

Share a Photo or Video: Here you have an opportunity to post a video, photo, or selfie from different groups and families to share with one another. Take a selfie with Worship Online in the background! Hold up signs! Express your gratitude and celebrate being a part of Community Church!

Benediction

Choose someone to read the passage of Scripture below out loud, or have someone from your family or Zoom group read it out loud as a benediction over our church family.

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.”

— 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
