My family of four needs an apartment with 3 bedrooms in Gloucester by March first. Please pray for me. (1/27/21)
Dear church family,
We appreciate your prayers for Feb 1st, when Kristen will, Lord-willing, deliver our baby girl. Please pray for health and safety before & during; and healing for Kristen after the C-section. Also that God would lead us to be parents that care well for our child and lead her towards the grace of our God!
Thank you! (1/17/21)
Prayer for the safety of the Gordon campus community (in regards to COVID 19) as we return back to campus in the near future! (1/17/21)
We have longed to be parents and have been trying to conceive for 2 years to no avail. We have decided to seek help from a fertility specialist after having considered fostering and finding that our living situation prevents us at the moment. We seek prayer for wisdom as we walk down this path of fertility testing and treatment, that we might honor the Lord in our decisions. We also desire to be patient and content with what he has already given. Thank you church family for your love and encouragement in this! (1/17/21)
“I have found myself in a time of life where I find loneliness very apparent. This feeling expresses itself most clearly when I am home on break, rather than living on campus at Gordon College. I miss my friends, my mentors, and my church family in MA. On top of this, I am a young adult, watching my friends and peers fall into relationships and engagements as well as my two older brothers taking big life steps with their wives. I have a longing to find a greater depth in my relationship with God before being in a romantic relationship, but in my humanness I find myself longing more for earthly comfort to that loneliness. I am struggling to pray for my future husband without overstepping God's plan for me. I know my comfort comes from spending time with the Lord, but I have a hard time calling out to him in the midst of the lonely. I have not yet shared this prayer with those who would be willing to pray over it, it feels slightly embarrassing. But I think that is the enemy getting in my way of finding peace in this struggle. So here I am, being vulnerable. Thank you so much for your prayers.” (1/3/21)
UPDATE: Valerie is back in the hospital as an infection has spread to a bone in her foot, and she is waiting to be scheduled for a surgery to further address the issue. She has asked for prayer as she navigates all this. (5/18/20)
Valerie Durso would like prayer. She is in the hospital with a blood infection in her leg. (4/24/20)
UPDATE: Mary is doing well and has a good supportive community around her. Thank you for being a part of that through your prayers! (5/17/20)
Please pray for my sister Mary and family. Her husband Bill passed away suddenly yesterday. This was totally unexpected. Thank you for you faithfulness to pray. (5/3/20)
Praise be to God that I am an essential employee which means we still have an income. Thank you, God, that we have food on the table. Thank you, Lord, that we have children who actually love, enjoy and take pride in their school work even at home. Prayer for continued health for all. For my family, church family, my co-workers as we care for our patients, for my patients, patients’ families, friends, neighbors. Prayer for my children as everyday life is different now. For my husband who has been cooking every night while I continue to work and by the end of the day I am mentally exhausted from dealing with "COVID". And lastly prayer for me this Wednesday I have to go into the hospital for a transfusion and am fearful of being a patient at this time. Thankful to be able to access church even from my living room. Father I love this Church Community. In the early morning of Palm Sunday Your covert, "Special Forces Disciples," delivered… palms to my front doorstep. This secret mission was in no doubt to bring this Church Community closer and to keep us connected, but most importantly to remind us of the Messianic King’s entrance into Jerusalem to fulfill Holy Scripture’s prophecy and to ultimately Sacrifice Himself for all of humanity’s sins. I am inspired by such Brothers and Sisters in Christ. May Your courage, Jesus Christ, and the strength of Your Death and Resurrection be etched on our hearts and souls forever. I PRAY FOR OUR CHURCH LEADERS AND THE SPECIAL FORCES DISCIPLES!!! AMEN (4/5/20)
Thank God for good news in the midst of it all. Morgan shared this, “I just wanted to pass this along. Jesus is good and working even in this time. Caleb and I got married with our immediate family present hours before the order of no gatherings of 10+ and everything began to close. Gloucester Daily Times wrote a story. This isn't a story about us. We are praying this story points to Jesus. We are praying this story offers hope and a good headline in the midst of worry and defeating news headlines. We are so thankful.”

Please pray for wisdom for our local and national leaders. I pray that we make wise decisions as parents and community members and Christians in the midst of this crisis. (3/26/20)
Please pray for our co-workers and their families. One of our receptionists at my job, though young, has severe asthma, and her mother is very concerned for her. Another co-worker's father has emphysema and he is very concerned for him.
Many of the people we work with on a daily basis are vulnerable in ways we may not be aware of and just knowing that people of faith are praying for them can lift them up, give them hope and point them to our Lord. (3/23/20)
I would love prayer for our Gordon students, many of whom are international, who are remaining on Gordon's campus for the foreseeable future. Please also pray for the staff, faculty, and administration at Gordon who are trying to support and minister to our students through this tumultuous time. The students are really grieving the loss of their home and struggling to figure out how to finish the semester online. (3/20/20)
Please pray for my family to use good wisdom in staying healthy\keeping the virus from spreading, talking about the virus with others, specifically our children, and loving those around us. I find it most difficult to know how to care for people around me when we have decided to withdraw physically. (3/20/20)
Please pray for those in our community and church who work for restaurants and in the food industry, that God would raise up provision in the very real financial concerns of their lives. But more importantly that this season of concern would draw them to Jesus himself. (3/18/20)
From Nikki: “I just lost my job over a crazy situation. So a little prayer would be nice that I get my unemployment and that maybe I should be aware of the Lords direction for me at this point. Also, prayers for my new part time job - that my clients would continue to locate me. And overall good health for all!” (3/18/20)
Please pray for the first responders in our church, including police officers and nurses who are on the frontlines of cares. Pray that they would remain virus-free and would have the energy, compassion, and love to care for our neighbors well! (3/17/20)
