Register for Spiritual Journaling Class on Thursday Nights

You may have noticed an increased emphasis on journaling at our church.  Our new "Going Deeper" reflection questions based on each week's sermon often invite you to pray and write in your journal.  As we prepare as a church for Pastor Tim's sabbatical in January, we are exploring the theme of "Telling Our Story."  Journaling can be a tool that helps us think clearly, that helps us process our lives and our experiences, and that helps us locate our own story within God's great story of love and redemption in Jesus.

So we're offering a four-week class introducing the practice of spiritual journaling.  We'll be equipping you with some tools and prompts to help you get started with journaling; we will highlight some Scriptures that invite us into this kind of active reflection... AND we'll learn how to make our own hardcover casebound journals along the way!  This is a hands-on class, and by the end of November, you will end up with your own handmade journal... if all goes according to plan.
