Amirah Hope Sunday, February 6, 2022

Join us on Sunday, February 6, for our 10:00am worship service where we will be celebrating “Hope Sunday" with Amirah, a local organization that seeks to combat modern-day slavery by helping women move from exploitation to liberation. We will have the chance to hear from one of their representatives, Mary Speta, who will present a biblical, gospel-centered message on God’s compassion for the vulnerable.

Amirah is a leader in the field of aftercare and specializes in ending the cycle of exploitation and trafficking in the United States. Hope Sunday will provide the knowledge and awareness of the cycle of exploitation and will equip our church to combat the evils associated with it. On Sunday, we will be introducing the Amirah Ministry Team at the church and letting you know about additional volunteer opportunities for small groups and/or individual volunteer opportunities within the Amirah home.
