Women's Ministry "Christmas in October" Event

Women’s Ministry is partnering with Leah Brooks and the Soldier and Family Readiness Group to prepare and send Christmas hope and cheer to Pastor Jake and his troops serving overseas. 

Ladies, please join us on Wednesday, October 20 at 7:00 pm in the downstairs fellowship hall at the church to help put together homemade treats (stockings, ornaments, candles and more!) for Christmas care packages for the soldiers.  We will have Christmas music and cookies, so bring your Christmas cheer, a friend or neighbor, and a sewing machine if you have one!

The following items for donation will be collected in a box in the foyer at church until Sunday, October 17:

  • 20 rolls of Saran wrap

  • Christmas-y fabric/material (any pieces larger than 1/4 yard)

  • 400 Tea lights

  • 100 Individually wrapped candies (no chocolate--it melts!)

  • Lots of small/cheap gag prizes for party games

  • 100 Cinnamon sticks
